  3. Safe Updates for Connected Sites

We will auto create a quick staging site of your main website, perform core, themes and plugin updates and compare the two sites. If everything is ok, we will update the live site for you.

  4. Ability to upload new plugin from dashboard to all sites

Enable users to upload and deploy WordPress zip plugins across all managed sites directly from the InstaWP dashboard. Key Features: Centralized plugin upload and deployment. Bulk installation across multiple sites in one action. Ensure consistent plugin versions across all sites. Save time by eliminating the need for individual site logins. Example: I wanted to add new CommandUI plugin to all sites, but had to open all sites individually and upload zip plugin.

  5. XCloud integration for hosting

Please consider doing a hosting partnership with xCloud. They have some funding from the Fluent team and they provide reasonable pricing for their managed and unmanaged plans. They seem like a much better Cloudways alternative. Thanks. https://xcloud.host/

  6. Create staging from InstaWP Dashboard

I don't see an option to create a staging of a connected site. I had to go to the website, InstaWP Hub and then request for a staging to be made in order to pull this into the hosting environment.

  7. InstaWP Connect plugin: Option to SHOW InstaWP menu to selected users

The InstaWP Connect plugin now includes the option to hide the menu for specific users. Typically, we want to allow only a few trusted admin users to create staging sites. However, with the current setup, any new admin user automatically gains the ability to create a staging site. The option should have been to show the InstaWP menu to selected users instead. This way, permissions would always be explicit.

  8. Automated Daily/Weekly Version (backups)

Provide an option to take automated daily or weekly backups for InstaWP sites, this will help users recover sites if something goes wrong. Also an option to limit the automated backups to last X times.

  9. Option to add site description

Problem: I have 5 sites with a random name that were created a week ago. Now I don't remember why each one was created. Solutoin: A description field below the URL. I could explain the purpose of a site like "Testing Woo shipping options" or "Testing theme update".

  11. Suspend an InstaWP site

Sometimes when we move a client from InstaWP to our production service we aren't quite ready to nuke everything on InstaWP. I'd like to be able to suspend the site (or redirect it from the dashboard) without deleting it while we wait for it to expire.

  12. Gridpane Partnership

Please explore a partnership with Gridpane. They also have funding from Automattic and are much more established than a platform like ServerAvatar. https://gridpane.com/

  13. Website should have a settings to disable all Plugins.

It would be great if the website owner could disable all installed plugins. If any unexpected errors occur, this setting will assist users in recovering the website.

  14. Lock site for maximum security

Simple brochure sites are primarily static, and don't need dynamic functions. Most of them require only a contact form, which can be taken care of by a third-party service. For these types of sites, an option to completely lock both the database and the file system would minimize maintenance and prevent security issues altogether, bringing complete peace of mind for clients and developers. Rocket.net implemented this feature recently, and it works well.
